As I'm sure most of you are aware, the Xbox Game Pass Twitter team teased us on March 12th with another game coming to Game Pass.

Rumours around the Internet were suggesting the game in question was Outriders. This has now been confirmed by Microsoft and Xbox to be coming to Game Pass on its launch date.
The Outriders demo has been available on Xbox and other platforms since the 25th of February, taking you anywhere between 2-3 hours to complete it. With that being said, allow me to tell you more about the actual game itself.
Outriders is an upcoming third-person role-playing game developed by People Can Fly, whose parent company is the massively successful Epic Games. It is being published by Square Enix (a European subsidiary).
The RPG uses the Unreal 4 engine and is slated to release on 1st April 2021 (no joke).

In the game, you get to customise your player and select from four different classes.
The four classes are:
The Trickster, who has the ability to manipulate time.
The Pyromancer, who can manipulate fire.
The Devastator, who can unleash seismic attacks.
The Technomancer, who uses turrets and other devices.
The game features a skill tree to improve your player with different skills.

Players can use and customise different weapons throughout the game via various mods. You can hide behind cover to save yourself, but health will only regenerate if you damage or kill the enemy.
You will fight against monsters and human enemies alike, with these encounters becoming progressively more difficult to overcome as you make your way through the levels. Expect better loot drops, as they scale along with the increasing difficulty.
Throughout the game, you can speak to NPCs and complete side missions.

The link to the tweet by Game Pass includes the game's premise, which is as follows:
Humanity's efforts to colonize the alien planet, Enoch, went astray as the expedition team encountered a massive energy storm, known as "The Anomaly", during their search for a mysterious signal which may indicate hope for humanity's future. The storm grants both Enoch's inhabitants and the colonists superpowers.
