The Elden Ring topic has been circulating a lot in the last couple of months and even more so in the last couple of days. Gamers generally complaining and questioning why there hasn’t been an official trailer after all the hype for the game, but very recently a trailer for Elden Ring was leaked online and took the world by storm. Now people can see what exactly Elden Ring is and what they have been waiting for.
So I recently watched the leaked trailer of Elden Ring, one thing I learned for sure is that... Elden Ring is... real (I hope you get this reference) like it really exists!
Keep in mind the trailer was just 1 minute, at least the trailer I saw. There isn't much to talk about but I will break down everything I saw and tell you my personal thoughts.
The trailer starts with a great-looking landscape that looks beautiful despite the bad video quality. A dragon with a crazy design shows up and then two crazy-looking giants carrying a chariot (or whatever that is). The environment looks really nice, I really like the choice of colors and the art style. The art style both feel fresh and yet familiar, I don't know if that makes any sense and I feel like I have seen the art style in previous games like Dark Souls and at the same time, the art style feels like something really fresh and new to me. It's a weird thing but yeah whatever.
The protagonist shows up who somehow looks similar to Prince of Persia, and I love that, the character and the curvy sword really give middle eastern vibes. I really like the design, then there is the narrator voice or a character voice (which isn't exactly clear), talking to the protagonist with such a powerful voice, talking about crossing seas, getting to the edge of the map,
and seeking the Elden Ring. It really sounded good, that voice was the best part of the trailer.
The final part of the trailer was the gameplay, which looked similar to the other 'Fromsoft' games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, like fighting a fire-breathing dragon, dark giants, and huge spiders. All those creepy creatures. Did I tell you you can ride horses on Elden Ring? Ohh that was another highlight, fighting creatures while riding on a horse. It has horses so I guess it will have a huge map, who knows? Well, I hope so.

So… that was it. How was it? It looked amazing. The gameplay looked fun, the art style is amazing, the whole atmosphere felt great, but the protagonist model didn't look like current-gen. Honestly, I don't think it looked good for last-gen either. Don't get me wrong, the art was really good-looking and beautiful, the protagonist's model just didn't look realistic enough, like it didn't look as good as standard last-gen graphics. Maybe this isn't polished yet or maybe this is just an old trailer of an early build of the game they never shared... anyway my only complaint was the face of the protagonist and his armor not looking good enough visually. Apart from that, it was a piece of perfection.
What were your thoughts? Let us know below.
Looking forward to this one!!
I am really excited for this game but I'm waiting to watch the trailer in HD before watching it I refuse to watch it in low quality haha
